BIKESHOPGIRL : A CARING BIKE COMPANY

Over the past few years I have heard the brand name “KindHuman” buzzing around the southeast racing community. They sponsored a couple of good friends, and were making waves in the race scene because of it. Fast forward to earlier this week when KindHuman popped back up on my radar because they showed how kind and human they really are... READ MORE HERE

VELONEWS : PRO BIKE GALLERY : ADAM MYERSON’S KINDHUMAN KÜDÜ

Adam Myerson (Cycle-Smart) is aboard a relatively new frame brand this season, KindHuman, which has been around for three years. Myerson’s KindHuman Kudu uses a more traditional geometry with a level top tube, an aesthetic that was important to Myerson. The bike is outfitted with a SRAM Force CX1 drivetrain and Mercury carbon tubulars... READ MORE HERE

KindHuman’s procedure of putting partnerships over sponsorships is a unique approach that they hope creates a more in-depth relationship between rider and company. All of KindHuman’s products are performance-oriented, which will appeal to racers, while pricing reflects the economy of the rider-direct sales model... READ MORE HERE

BIKERUMOR : FOUND KINDHUMAN KAMPIONNE

KindHuman is a big believer in the bicycle. From their humble roots in clothing to an impressive line of bikes currently, Adam Abramowicz and Gavin Brauer are as much about giving back as they are about their product. The pair state, “We’re going to make bike products that people want to ride, that they can afford to ride and we are going to use our proceeds to get more people riding them.”... READ MORE HERE

PRETTY DAMNED FAST : ETÉ

As the days get longer and warmer, we find ourselves spending more time in the saddle. We test our endurance, rides are spirited and more rewarding in the warmer months. Over the past few weeks we’ve been working some new items into our standard repertoire. It’s always refreshing to hit the road in new kit, and it’s a pleasure to see the new year’s innovations and improvements on each piece. Here are some of our favorites, photographed in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park... READ MORE HERE

LIFE IS A BEAUTIFUL DETAIL

There are a lot of rules in cycling and whether you believe in them, follow them, dismiss them, or simply don't care about them I'm sure you have an opinion. One of the hottest topics of discussion in cycling is kit and there is just about no end to the rules people will quote to govern how you should wear your kit. Strangely enough if you ask anyone, including Velominati there are no specific rules for coffee shop banter on gloves so... let's do a real quick pros and cons of wearing gloves at all... THE BICYCLE STORY : ADAM ABRAMOWICZ : A KINDER APPROACH TO THE BICYCLE INDUSTRY

Adam Abramowicz wants to run a different sort of bike company. Like many boutique brands in the industry, KindHuman sells carbon and steel framesets, apparel, and components. But the profits earned go back, in part, to a youth cycling scholarship and their team sponsorships are based on character first and results second. It’s a model Abramowicz hopes will create a welcoming, fostering atmosphere for would be cyclists and racers. I spoke to him about his company’s model, their youth scholarship program, the challenges of being a start up in a big, broad industry, and much more... READ MORE HERE

FIFTH YEAR SENIOR : KINDHUMAN KAMPIONNE REVIEW

I’ll preface this by saying- I’ve had a carbon cyclo-cross bike, I’ve had an aluminum cyclo-cross bike with carbon seat-stays, and I’ve had an aluminum road bike. I’ve ridden steel road bikes and mountain bikes, but this is my first carbon road bike. I came into this bike expecting it to feel like I was riding on a cloud, or being carried down the street by a loyal gang of servants while I sat on a plush, velvety seat woven from angel hairs. That’s not what it felt like. What I got was a bike ride, but it’s way better than anything I’ve ever had... READ MORE HERE
